Normal alignment and segmentation.
At L4/L5-Moderate disc dehydration. There is a generalised disc bulge narrowing the lateral recesses and just touching the L5 nerve roots with no overt compression. There is mild ligamentum flavum hypetrophy indenting the thecal sac.
At L5/s1- type1 superior L5 endplate modic changes with L5/S1 disc dehydration. There is a focal left paracentral disc protrusion with extrusion and mild cranial migration. This is compressing the left s1 nerve root in the lateral recess and displacing it. There is mild bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertoprhy.
