• Normal appearances at the craniocervical junction. The whole of the cord is well-imaged and appears normal with a normal termination of the conus, and there is no intraspinal or pre-sacral mass lesion identified. However, arising from the right T10-T11 intervertebral foramen is a lobular mass which extends to the right side in the intercostal space and has features that would be fairly typical of a plexiform neurofibroma arising from the intercostal nerve. Interestingly, it is located on the convexity of the curve but at approximately the curve apex.
• Conclusion: Plexiform neurofibroma associated with NF-1.
