• There is diffuse heterogenous marrow signal with a focus of T1/T2 hypo ntensity in the anterior L1 vertebral body
• There is diffuse micronodular infiltration of the entire spine and pelvis (Vertebral bodies> posterior elements) with two large lesions seen L1 &S1. The lesions exhibit low SI on all pulse sequences except for large lesions demonstrating high SI on STIR sequence.
• The findings are rather typical for the varigated ‘salt and pepper,’ pattern of involvement seen in multiple myeloma
