• L3/L4 modic endplate change. A healed benign compression fracture is once again noted at T12 and a haemangioma is present in the L2 vertebral body but no abnormality is seen in the pre-sacral space or the imaged portion of the sacrum.
• There is mild to moderate central canal stenosis at the L3/L4 level above the level of decompression and instrumentation. There is some crowding of the cauda equina nerve roots, with csf seen only posteriorly. At the same level there is evidence of surgery with laminectomy and granulation tissue. There is convincing left L3 foramen nerve compression.
• There is mild central stenosis at L1/L2, less so at L2/L3, and it is possible that the degree of stenosis is exacerbated when the patient is standing and walking.
