• A hypointense calcified disc extrusion at T8-9 is appreciated which virtually extends across the entire AP canal dimension with only a trace of intra dural space for the thoracic cord which is markedly and attenuated and probably of hyperintense signal on the stir weighted imaging. lifting of pll.
• Slender volume of dorsal epidural fat seen at this level.
• Mineralisation of the disc extends into the posterior superior endplate of T9 vertebral body with focal small erosion that measures 4 mm x 4 mm in size.
• Further areas of hypo intense disc protrusion at the two proximal levels including T6-7 and T7-8 which are located towards the central/right paracentral location which indent the ventral dural with minor flattening of the thoracic cord but without significant stenosis
• There is an isolated haemangioma at T11 but otherwise no focal marrow signal abnormality. The conus medullaris is within normal limits at the level of T12-L1.
