• The marrow changes are limited to the lower thoracic region between T9 and T11, and lower lumbar region between L3 and L5. There is loss of disc height, endplate irregularity and mild oedema-like marrow signal with possible progression to fusion across the anterior disc margins in the lower thoracic region.
• The overall findings are suggestive of SAPHO.
