Spine Week 6 Case 3

• The lesion in L4 demonstrates low T1, high T2 and bright stir signal throughout. It follows the imaging features of a benign notochordal cell remnant but has a posterior exrtra-osseous component. No overt cord compression or secondary complications from this are seen. The radiological appearances are consistent with an atypical notochordal cell tumour (ANCT).
