• In the upper thoracic spine there are multiple areas of high T1, high T2 and high STIR signal round lesions in keeping with simple haemangiomas.
• In the lower spine one particular lesion shows low T1, high T2 and high STIR signal with involvement of the neural arch. This is consistent with a lipid poor/atypical haemangioma. There is some surrounding oedema with extension into the pedicles.
