• There are multiple rounded T1 hypointense foci throughout the lumbo-sacral spine. There is pathological collapse of L1, where there is marrow replacement of the vertebral body, posterior cortex bulging and extraosseous extension into the ventral thecal sac resulting in cauda equina compression. Appearances are highly suspicious of metastases.
